OPERATING
BASE
The Kuryk Operating Base (KOB) was built in 2013 in the area close to Kuryk, 2.5km from downtown and just 7km from the ERSAI Yard. It covers an area of 4 hectares and consists of 6 modular buildings providing a total of 260 single rooms.
The KOB is connected to electricity, gas, water and all areas are supplied with a Wi-Fi high-speed internet connection.

Each block consist of 14 different sections for a total of:

In all blocks, there is a surveillance system, fire alarm system, fire extinguisher, drinkable water and Wi-Fi internet.

CANTEEN
With a capacity of 250 seats we are able to serve more than 1.000 meals daily. The menu is a mix of local and international cuisine. Our canteen is equipped with kitchen state of the art equipment and waste recycling.

KOB is covered by a 24H 7/7 security system equipped with cameras and physical guards day and night. The camp is surrounded by a 2 meter high perimeter and the main gate is secured by a barrier. The KOB is can only be accessed through an electrical-badge system.
WHERE IT IS LOCATED
This field is located less than 7 kilometres from the Yard ERSAI / SAIPEM, midway from the exit for Aktau and the village of Kuryk. It can be reached from Aktau in about 45 minutes by car and it is the ideal accommodation for those working in the Kuryk area that want to avoid the costly and adventurous daily travels from Aktau.
